Titanic's crew conducts a lifeboat drill as the passengers board the ship. Under the watch of the Board of Trade inspectors, Titanic's junior officers and other sailors perform a simulated escape in a lifeboat. Satisfied with the simulation, the inspectors declare Titanic's lifeboats to be safe and adequate. The ship is officially free to sail.
